Located in the Priddis foothills and mountain area, 25 miles southwest of Calgary. The horseback riding arrangements and the length of time you spend on horseback is up to you. You can opt to ride for a full or half day over terrain that varies from valleys to high mountain foothills, over old Indian trails across streams and meadows. They have close to 50 head of horses to accommodate the rider of all skill levels. There is also the opportunity to take a trip to Spruce Meadows, Banff or the Glenbow Museum and Heritage Park. Grab your fishing rod for a walk along the creek or a visit to the nearby lakes as for excellent fishing. When the snow falls, you can cross-country ski at the ranch, with dog sledding, snow boarding, downhill skiing, skating, and snowmobiling available nearby. Located in the in the beautiful Porcupine Hills, this is a working cattle ranch on 4,000 acres with 600 head of cattle and 80 horses. This is open country where herds of Texas Longhorns and Crossbred cattle come alongside herds of wildlife. Depending on the season, weather and the riders ability, there are special weeks for cattle drives and to help out with the typical cowboy chores. They also offer team roping instruction and practice and the typical cowboy evening campfire.
