Canoe-poland invites you to one one of the best locations for flat water canoeing in Europe. Amongst forests and national parks, there are numerous waterways which join up to form canoe trails which are ideal for short or long distance touring.

Out of season, you will come across very few people, ideal for spotting wildlife and camping wild. Home to the wolf and many other mammals, the forests in this region provide one of the few remaining habitats for numerous species of animals.The Biebrza and Bialowieza national parks are in close vicinity, so once you finish canoeing, why not take a short trip and visit the home of the emperor of the forest, the Europeasn bison, which lives in the worlds last remaining remnant of decidous primeval forest.

One of the simple pleasures in life is to take part in a forest trek, there are many signposted trails, which go on for 100s of kms, and one of the major attractions of this area is the proximity of Lithuania, where it is possible to trek across no mans land, an area which during soviet times was strictly out of bounds.
