Class I: Easy - Skill Level: None
Class II: Medium - Some rough water, some rocks, occasional maneuvering. Skill Level: Basic Paddling
Class III: Difficult - Numerous waves, some small drops. Some rocks and significant maneuvering. Skill Level: Experienced
Class IV: Very Difficult - Long rapids, medium drops, sharp maneuvers may be needed. Skill Level: Experienced, expert paddling
Class V: Extremely Difficult - Large rapids, large boulders and hazards, a sharp drops. Skill Level: Advanced Experience, expert paddling
Class VI: Unmarriageable - Rarely run. Dangerous - Serious risk of injury or death. Not attempted by group raft trips. Skill Level: Experts only.
