The Ten Best Scenic World Views and Vistas
Machu Picchu Best view of Machu Picchu is seen from the Inca Trail, near the Guard House, referred to as the called the Watchman's hut. The Guard House is built in a style called wayrona, a three-sided structure open at one end of a long side.
Annapurna from Sarankot, Nepal The Himalayas They are unlike any other mountains in the world: The best views are from the village of Sarankot, 5,000 feet up in the foothills of Nepal. For the slightly more adventurous, you can take a relatively Annapurna sunrise view trek and walk meandering through villages and rhododendron forests. This trek takes in some of the best view of the Himalayas.

The Golden Gate BridgeSan Francisco The best views are from above the bridge on the San Francisco side. Access it from the "Last SF Exit" off the approach road, or from Lincoln Avenue.from the Marin Headlands; and from Hawk Hill on the Marin Headlands where you can view the bay, the bridge, the city and the blue Pacific.
Sydney Harbour The best views are from Mrs Macquarie's Point on the walking path below Mrs Macquarie's Chair where you can take in the skyline, the Opera House, and the Harbour Bridge. The best times are either pre-dawn, around sunrise, around sunset and after sunset.
The Parthenon
The best view is taken from the top floor of the new Acropolis Museum that houses the Parthenon Gallery, a glass enclosed, sky-lit space that is aligned with the Parthenon. Visitors have an un obstructed, 360-degree view of the ancient temple and surrounding city from this gallery. Another great view is from the top of 900-foot Mount Lycabettus.You can walk to the summit through pine trees from Kolonaki, Athens' upscale residential district.
Amalfi Coast Breathtaking views can be seen along the 30 mile drive along the Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy. Best times are during the spring and summer when the wildflowers are in bloom.
