Set in half a million acres of private concession, this tranquil shady corner of heaven is in a pristine wilderness, threaded by crystal waters. Surrounded by open grasslands, island sanctuaries and the papyrus- fringed channels. Guests are transported in custom-made saddles. Elephants not only cope in water and sand with equal ease but also get very close to other game. Accommodations are in suite tents, furnished with carpets and mahogany four-poster beds and raised on teak decking with a private viewing platform overlooking a lagoon. The only potential drawback for someone with limited time is that you have to stay here for the full 5 nights.

Venture along the Zambezi River, hippo and crocodile are common and there is a wide variety of bird species. Each elephant has its own handler and clients will leave having witnessed the elephant's incredible skills, intelligence and willingness to respond to instruction.
